Versatility is a prerogative of the Mighty Small 50 Plus. For this reason it is equipped with double software that can be selected according to the mode of use:

  • “N” mode Polyvalent eccentric screw pump
  • Mode “A” Airless pump

When set in “A” mode, it acquires the functionality of the S50 Airless with the same performance. To complete the transformation, it will be possible to install the appropriate Airless transformation kit.

Mighty Small 50 Plus is usually positioned under the discharge outlet of a mixer to pour the mixture directly into the hopper.

Wet products that do not need to be mixed, can be poured directly into the hopper.
The mixture contained in the hopper is sucked by the rotor-stator pumping system and pushed into the hose until it reaches the opposite end.

Accessories and devices for spraying and injecting material at controlled pressure can be connected. A hose can also be used on the machine for pouring the self-levelling or filling products.

Set the pumping speed using the exclusive IMER A1 inverter, adapting the machine to different needs.

Mighty Small 50 Plus is equipped with a diagnostic display, which signals any anomalies during use and related resolution methods.

The exclusive IMER A1 inverter allows the Mighty Small 50 Plus to operate with appropriately sized generators.

IMER – MIGHTY SMALL 50 Pump is a compact, 110V electric rotor/stator pump designed to pump and spray a wide range of mortars, grouts, stuccos, fireproofing, and self‑leveling underlayments with impressive output from a small, portable package. With 1.75 HP (EVO) or optional 3 HP 220V (PLUS), variable flow up to about 30–54 cu ft/hr, and pumping distances up to 200 ft depending on material, it’s a versatile “mighty but small” machine for modern contractors.

Overview of the IMER MIGHTY SMALL 50 Pump

The IMER Mighty Small 50 (also known as Small 50 EVO and Small 50 PLUS) is a multi‑purpose progressive cavity (screw) pump for pumping and spraying premixed and site‑mixed materials. IMER describes it as an “easily portable multi‑purpose pump and spray machine” that can be configured with various accessories for grout injection, fireproofing, stucco, self‑leveling underlayment (SLU), waterproofing, and coatings.

Unlike larger towable pumps, the Mighty Small 50 is compact and runs on 110V 20‑amp (EVO) or 220V single‑phase (PLUS), making it ideal for interior work, high‑rise buildings, and tight job sites where access and power are limited. It uses a D8 1.5 ECO rotor/stator pumping system to provide smooth, controllable flow with aggregates up to about 3/16–1/4 in.

These specs show that the IMER – MIGHTY SMALL 50 Pump is a serious production machine that remains small, quiet, and easy to move.

Progressive Cavity Pumping System

At the heart of the Mighty Small 50 is a progressive cavity (screw) pump using a rotor/stator combo.

  • Rotor/stator: D8 1.5 ECO rotor and stator provide a gentle, continuous flow that’s ideal for pumpable mortars, grouts, and SLU.

  • Variable speed: A rheostat or inverter‑driven control lets you adjust rotor speed from roughly 8–140 RPM on some EVO units, giving fine control over flow.

  • Pressure capability: Max pumping pressure around 300 PSI, suitable for pumping through 3/4 in or 1 in hose up to the specified distances.

This progressive cavity design lets the Mighty Small 50 move thick, thixotropic materials and self‑levelers smoothly, without the pulsing seen in some piston pumps.

Materials and Applications

The IMER – MIGHTY SMALL 50 Pump is specifically marketed as a multi‑purpose pump and spray machine for a wide variety of materials:

Typical materials:

  • Grouts: block fill, door buck grouting, rock wall finishing, repair grouts.

  • Self‑leveling underlayments (SLU) and floor toppings.

  • Stucco and EIFS (cement‑based and synthetic) base coats and finishes.

  • Fireproofing: sprayed fire‑resistive materials (SFRM).

  • Plasters, soundproofing and waterproofing compounds, acrylic stuccos.

  • Coatings and paints (especially for the PLUS version used as an airless pump in some regions).

Product sheets and dealer descriptions emphasize that it can “pump grout to fill blocks, metal door bucks, self leveling materials, epoxy, almost any material with aggregate no bigger than 1/4” and that it can operate continuously on 110V 20 amp service or 220V for PLUS.

Typical applications:

  • Pumping and spraying conventional mortars and grouts.

  • Tuck‑pointing and controlled pressure grout injection.

  • Spraying fireproofing on structural steel.

  • Pumping SLU across large floors (up to 150–200 ft).

  • Pumping stucco onto residential homes and applying grout to finish rock walls.

This versatility makes the Mighty Small 50 a “money making machine” for contractors who want to stop carrying buckets and start pumping or spraying.

Control Panel, Inverter, and Remote Operation

Modern Mighty Small 50 EVO and PLUS models use inverter‑driven control panels for smooth, adaptable performance.

Control features:

  • Inverter (IMER A1 style on PLUS): Handles voltage variations, protects the motor, and allows 70+ speed settings for fine flow control.

  • Speed control: Operator can adjust motor RPM to match material type and hose length, optimizing flow and preventing overload.

  • 5‑volt remote: Standard on pump‑only kits, with 53 ft of cable for start/stop at the gun or application point.

  • Pneumatic control provision: When used with the optional diaphragm compressor, air valve at the gun can start/stop the pump automatically based on air back‑pressure.

TileTools and StoneTooling note that the adaptive control panel includes emergency stop, LED code display, and advanced features for operator feedback.

Hopper, Loading Height, and Portability

The Mighty Small 50 Pump is engineered to be easy to feed and easy to move.

  • Stainless steel hopper: Approx. 12.5 gallons / 1.75 cu ft, rugged and easy to clean.

  • Low loading height: About 25–25.5 in, minimizing lifting and making it easy to dump bags or buckets in.

  • Compact footprint: About 44" long × 20.5" wide × 25.5" high, small enough for tight interior spaces and elevators.

  • Weight: 90–100 lb (machine), allowing two‑person lifting and easy rolling on casters or small wheels.

This makes the IMER – MIGHTY SMALL 50 Pump a natural fit for interior renovations, high‑rise floors, and jobs where larger trailer pumps simply cannot go.
