General or Combination Blades

Crosscuts and rip cuts are both handled by general-purpose combo blades. With 40 to 50 teeth, combination blades bridge the gap between crosscut and ripping blades. While they aren't the greatest blade for ripping or cross cuts, they are capable of doing both, reducing the need to switch blades in the middle of a job. Combination blades are ideal for jobs that call for both sorts of cuts but don't require the flawless finish of a crosscut blade or the speed of a ripping blade.
Â
General Purpose blades are made to cut a wide range of materials, including concrete, asphalt, and stone. We take pleasure in providing the most complete blade solutions to match your specific requirements. Blades Direct All Purpose blades are ideal for a wide range of cutting applications.

How do I know if my diamond blade is dull?
In order to determine whether or not a diamond saw blade is dull, you must keep an eye on it and look for the following signs:
- When the saw is turned on, there are unusual vibrations.
- When working with a simple material, work at a slower cutting speed.
- There are visible signs of warping or damage.
- When cutting, there is an unusual thumping sound.
- Because the steel core of the blade has worn through, you can see the steel core of the blade.
We highly recommend if you see any of these signs to replace the blade.
