Customer Feedback

"Our company has three Grout Hog’s that we work with. We purchased our first Grout Hog about 10 years ago and still use it on our jobsites. Our most recent purchase was the Uphill Grout Hog and it was definitely a great addition to our fleet. We really can tell the increase in production time when using these products."

SPECIFICATIONS

The EZG Manufacturing Grout Hog is the industry’s gold standard for masonry grout delivery, revolutionizing how contractors fill masonry block, walls, columns, piers, and other demanding construction formations. Engineered for maximum efficiency, precision, and reliability, the Grout Hog series harnesses advanced features—including a swiveling base, high-volume auger system, and compatibility with forklifts and cranes—to boost productivity, minimize labor, and deliver perfectly placed grout even in the most challenging locations.

Comprehensive Overview: What Sets the EZG Grout Hog Apart

Since its debut in 1998, the EZG Grout Hog has set the benchmark for jobsite grout delivery. Unlike traditional bucket or pump methods, the Grout Hog’s innovative hydraulic auger quickly and evenly dispenses grout, concrete, sand, and even dry mixes, dramatically reducing crew fatigue and material waste. Its universal base swivels 270 degrees, giving operators up to 17 feet of reach without moving the forklift or telehandler—a massive advantage when working on long wall sections or around obstacles.

The system delivers up to 3/4 cubic yards of grout in approximately 2.5 minutes with precision placement, making it equally effective for both high-lift and low-lift pours in commercial, civil, or residential masonry.

Universal Features & Innovations

Swivel Base for Maximum Reach:

  • Eliminates constant repositioning—reach over or past obstacles, pour from the scaffold or into tight wall cells without moving equipment.

Auger Precision for Any Mix:

  • Handles up to 3/4" aggregate for grout, sand, core fill, and even dry materials, something most grout pumps cannot match.

  • Removable, heavy gauge auger and hopper design allow complete, quick cleaning—back to work in under 15 minutes.

Powered Your Way:

  • Connect to auxiliary forklift hydraulics, or opt for a powerful Honda gas engine (electric or diesel upgrades available). The GPHC75 model also adds a crane bail for even higher vertical access.

Control & Safety:

  • Hydraulic shutoff valve for precise grout control and emergency stop.

  • Safety pins keep forks from sliding off the unit during operation.

  • All models feature remote or pendant cable operation, keeping your crew safely out of the splash zone.

Performance in the Field: Real User Advantages

  • Masonry Walls and Block Fill: Rapidly and neatly fill entire courses without shoveling, bucketing, or extra labor. Reduces job time by 30–50% with cleaner, more consistent results.

  • Bridge, Column, and Pier Work: Pour uniform grout or concrete into narrow, tall, or hard-to-access forms—no spills or wasted mix on the ground.

  • Precast and Tilt-Up Construction: Supports high-mix volumes and varying flow rates, making it the go-to for manufacturers and large commercial pours.

  • Concrete Scarcity and Specialty Jobs: Use for sand, soil, or even dry mixes—outpacing competitors and meeting multifaceted job requirements.
