What Makes Diamond Blades Unique?
For some new customers not familiar with construction and contracting tools, common questions we receive are: "What exactly is a diamond blade?" and "How are they different from regular saws or blades?"
In short, a diamond blade looks and feels very similar to a standard blade, however, they are equipped with small diamonds on their edges, which help enable the cutting of hard or abrasive services. Diamond blades vary in shapes and sizes, and are particularly useful when used wet, which helps cut down on friction, overheating and the emission of potentially dangerous dust particles.
Diamond Blades are helpful in the cutting of the following surfaces:
- Granite
- Marble
- Concrete
- Stone
- Tile
- Other dense surfaces
