Man dies in Davie wood chipper accident DAVIE, FLORIDA - As sunset neared, a crime scene crew in blue and white overalls periodically passed down plastic bags from atop a wood chipper that had taken a man's life just four hours earlier in Davie. "I've been in police work 20 years. I've never seen anything like this," said Capt. Dale Engle with Davie police. "It was a gruesome scene."
