EZG's Uphill Grout Hog Delivery System

I'm sure you are wondering what the difference is between the Uphill Grout Hog and standard Grout Hot. The Uphill Grout Hog comes with an impressive 20" further reach and a 2-3' higher discharge height. This will allow you to pour closer to bar joists in interior walls without having your telehandler to high up in the air.

Just like the standard Grout Hog this unit has a unique swivel base which rotates 270 degrees to help reduce the need to move your telehandler to save time. Gas powered options comes with a GX390 11.7HP engine with a electric start and recoil start.

Features

  • Will deliver up to 1/2” (1.27 cm) aggregate
  • Makes grouting from the scaffold side of the wall easier
  • Unloads 3/4 cu. yd. in 2 1/2 minutes
  • Removable auger and hopper tilt allows for 15 minute clean up
  • Extended auger tube saves several feet of boom extension on your forklift
  • Decreased head height allows pouring up close to bar joist on interior walls
  • Unique swivel base allows grouting from all angles while eliminating extra forklift moves

Customer Feedback

“Our company has three Grout Hog’s that we work with. We purchased our first Grout Hog about 10 years ago and still use it on our jobsites. Our most recent purchase was the Uphill Grout Hog and it was definitely a great addition to our fleet. We really can tell the increase in production time when using these products."

The EZG Manufacturing Uphill Grout Hog is a game-changing grout delivery system specifically engineered for delivering grout and concrete mixes to challenging, elevated, or hard-to-reach locations on today’s demanding jobsites. Trusted by masons, contractors, and precast professionals, this innovative piece of equipment turns labor-intensive grouting into a streamlined, productive, and safer operation. With a robust build, field-proven reliability, and features fine-tuned for vertical or scaffold-side delivery, the Uphill Grout Hog stands out as an industry leader for concrete and masonry block filling in commercial and infrastructure construction.

Overview: Why the Uphill Grout Hog Sets the Standard

The Uphill Grout Hog was meticulously designed to solve a common pain point—how to efficiently deliver grout up and over obstacles, into high wall cavities, and along scaffold sides without the constant need to reposition forklifts or buckets. Its unique uphill auger and extended discharge system allow for a 20" higher reach and 2–3 feet greater discharge height than standard horizontal auger models, making it ideal for pouring close to bar joists or into interior wall spaces. Operated by a rugged gas or hydraulic powered auger, this machine can easily “shoot grout uphill,” unlocking access and boosting pour productivity.

Key Features & Advantages

Superior Uphill Delivery

  • The specialized uphill auger and extended tube allow crews to fill block and wall cavities from the scaffold side, up and over obstructions, or close to bar joists—without extending the telehandler to unsafe heights. This reduces risk, improves reach, and unlocks new efficiency on complicated projects.

High-Capacity, Fast Pouring

  • Move up to 3/4 yard (0.57 m³) of grout in under 3 minutes. Perfect for both high-lift and low-lift grouting, and equally adept with sand, concrete, or block-fill mixtures with up to 1/2” aggregate.

Rotating Swivel Base

  • A 270-degree rotating base means you can quickly reposition the auger and hose for multiple drop locations—ideal for long walls, inside corners, or multi-crew operations—while minimizing forklift or crane moves.

Cleaner & Safer Operation

  • The tilting hopper and removable auger ensure cleaning and maintenance can be performed in minutes—not hours—reducing jobsite downtime and keeping equipment in top shape longer.

Precision Control

  • With a pendant cable allowing forward and reverse auger operation (and optional wireless remote), crews have fingertip control over grout or concrete delivery, reducing mess, waste, and excess spillage.

Flexible Mounting and Power

  • The Uphill Grout Hog can be powered by on-board gas engine, telehandler/forklift hydraulics, or electric motor (custom option), and can be fitted with an optional crane bail for extreme reach. Choose a configuration for your workflow, fleet, or site limitations.

Real-World Jobsite Benefits

  • Elevated Wall Grouting: Easily delivers grout to walls that are several feet above ground or slab level, streamlining scaffold-side fills for high-rise or multi-story jobs.

  • Interior Wall and Commercial Work: Narrow, upward-angled delivery minimizes lifting heights when working inside steel or concrete frame structures with overhead joists.

  • Precast, Tilt-Up, and Bridgework: Handles specification pours where custom placement, reach, and cleanout are required by engineers or inspectors.

  • Reduced Labor & Risk: Fewer crew required for manual bucket or tub carrying. With its reach and precise control, you limit time spent handling heavy materials at elevation.
